Addressing Loneliness and Demands of the Modern society. Over the years, Kolumbus has expanded both horizontally and vertically to meet evolving social needs. Initially focused on first marriages, I broadened my scope to include second marriages as the percentage of divorce increased.
The devastating impact of loneliness, especially for mature singles and the widowed, led me to establish the Saathi service for companionship. A particularly moving incident involving a widower inspired this expansion. The need became even more acute during Covid-19, where life was depressing for many. My Saathi service is a practical solution to a growing social problem, offering a pathway to companionship, even for couples who may prefer it over remarriage.
